A Franciscan likes to hear a good story again and again.
The parables of Jesus make good sense to him.
A Franciscan knows little, is filled with wonder.
He accepts his won importance like a sieve accepts water.
A Franciscan sees sounds and hears colors. He experiences miracles
     all the time.
A Franciscan sees logic where the rest of us see only mystery and vise versa.
As a fool a Franciscan is hard to fool and is in competition with NOBODY.
A Franciscan has a keen perception of sin especially in himself,
but never passes judgment on others or himself.
A Franciscan usually kneels to talk with God and with children.
   A Franciscan never sets an agenda with God; is very patient with God;
lets God free to be God.
A Franciscan thinks the biggest sin is getting in God's way.
A Franciscan doesn't claim an atom of the world as one's own.
A Franciscan really isn't concerned about saving his soul; just loves and trusts God.
A Franciscan stumbles with the lame and flies with the angels at the same time.
A Franciscan grasps life and death with both hands and does not throw them away.
Even asleep, a Franciscan is a consummate liturgist.
A Franciscan finds the light by crawling into dark caves.
A Franciscan is able to cry and doesn't excuse his weeping saying "I'm all right.
  It's nothing."
A Franciscan laughs genuinely and merrily and never just to cover over ones fears.
A Franciscan gets to know others by first loving them; and not the other way around.
A Franciscan never expects a price for love and never tries to buy it.
A Franciscan knew all along that trees talk to one another.
