MISSION OUTLINE

The full missions are three (3) nights. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. They last one and one half hours each evening. Usually 7-8:30pm or 7:30-9pm The preaching part of the mission can be repeated at the homily of the morning mass. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday am.  I begin the mission experience by preaching all the weekend masses and presiding at 2 or 3. If the parish has a school, an all-school mass can be arranged on one of the mornings of the mission. A free will offering will be taken each night for Franciscan Ministries.

Full outlines, presider's prayers, and music suggestions are provided at the planning meeting which is to be scheduled at least one month prior to the mission. At this meeting, a team made up of liturgy, music, art and environment, pastoral staff and other appropriate staff would be present to share the mission preparation process with Friar Johnpaul
